Theme Park Review 2017 Coaster Poll Results 1667 1111 lapala

INTAMIN is very proud to announce that once again, a number of INTAMIN coasters made it to the top of the rankings.

And we are even more excited that it is again an INTAMIN Coaster which is on top of the list: the 1st place In the category “2017 Best Overall Roller Coaster” goes to El Toro at Six Flags Great Adventure which by the way is at the same time also the number one In the category of “2017 Best Wooden Roller Coaster”.  Not only this, but a total of 5 (!) INTAMIN Coasters are among the top 10 in this most prestigeous category.

INTAMIN’s Steel Roller Coasters are ranked among the worldwide favorites too – a fantastic 6 coasters out of the first 8 ranked Steel Roller Coasters are from INTAMIN!

Also worth to be mentioning is the fact, that some INTAMIN coasters were not included in the final results due to too few riders respectively reviews (less than 12). If those would have had more ridership, INTAMIN’s Triple Launch LSM Launch Coaster Soaring with Dragon at Hefei Wanda Theme Park as well as the Wooden Coaster T Express at Everland in South Korea would have made it to the top of the ranking too.

We are very, very excited with the results of this independent survey and INTAMIN would like to sincerely thank all the people around the world who submitted ballots to the poll and for their continuous trust and support during the past years and the many more to come.

Something exciting has been brewing at Linnanmäki Amusement Park during the past winter. The amusement park has been posting teasers in the social media implying that “Taiga is in the air”. And now, it is finally time to announce that a spectacular roller coaster is arriving at Linnanmäki in 2019!

“We are very excited to finally announce that Linnanmäki is making its greatest ride project ever in co-operation with ride manufacturer INTAMIN. This most unique high-profile launch coaster can be described as a coaster enthusiasts’ dream”, explains Pia Adlivankin, Managing Director of Linnanmäki with great excitement.

This new ride will have a top hat height at 52 meters, Finland’s longest track length of 1’104 meters and a furious maximum speed of 106 km per hour. In addition, this new Double LSM Launch Coaster will have two launches and four inversions.

INTAMIN is a European coaster manufacturer with the largest number of launch coasters in operation all over the world.

This fierce new roller coaster, Taiga, will be launched during the 2019 season.
