On 31 December 2025, Six Flags Qiddiya City in Saudi Arabia opened an Intamin Flying Island, Skywatch.
An eye-catching icon
Skywatch reaches a height of 45 metres thanks to hydraulic system, ensuring a smooth and noiseless experience. Skywatch offers a 360-degree panoramic view of Six Flags Qiddiya City and the Tuwaiq Mountains.
From the ground, Skywatch’s design provides a unique and appealing dynamic movement, giving the impression that the platform is rising and floating in the air.
As a high-capacity family-friendly panoramic attraction, Skywatch is accessible for a wide range of visitors. The spacious cabin offers an instant capacity of 99 passengers who may choose to sit down to relax or stand up and walk around freely while enjoying the view.
Additionally, Skywatch features a programmable LED lighting package and sixteen speakers for immersive onboard audio. There is also the possibility to connect external audio sources, such as a DJ or musicians, with audio input integrated directly into the sound system. The platform can remain airborne for private events or special occasions.
